Bigguy91
I was wondering if anyone has had any issues bringing firewood across state lines from Nevada? I don't remember where I had heard that from, but I had heard last season that people were being stopped at the checkpoint and were told they were not allowed to bring firewood. Has anyone had this issue? Or is it just a load of sh*t?
Svengoolie
No one has ever bothered me going to Dumont. No ag checkpoint between Pahrump. I don't remember where the checkpoint is on the 15. You could take 160 to Tecopa rd and avoid all hassles (except road destruction) Edited October 23, 2019 by Svengoolie

SandBox_Kid
I was stopped on President's Day 2019. The inspector looked at the wood carefully and even pulled a piece out🧐. He eventually said to carry on. I didn't ask what he was looking for, but my firewood was pre-scorched. Probably from a forest fire in Utah. Maybe he was looking for an invasive species like the bark beetle....
VegasSparky
I've had them ask where it originated from. They've had no problems with "store bought" bundles.
Adrenaline Jackie
I was pulling an enclosed trailer and was totally caught off guard at the AG inspection station on the 15 when she asked me if I had any firewood! My trailer was like 80% haunted house stuff and the rest may or may not have been firewood! We still ran out by Monday and went around picking it up from the stuff people left behind.
