Suspension on SUV's is just too soft for me to be comfortable towing a heavy a$$ tall trailer like a toyhauler. Suit yourself though....just stay away from me! I once followed a Titan on the way home from Dumont. He was towing a 21-25 ft SUPERLITE and he was all over the place. I didn't even want to pass him on a 4 lane road because I thought I'd put him in the desert on accident from the wind break while passing. ASK STEVEO. LEAVE THE TRAILER TOWWING TO A TRUCK THAT HAS A DECENT AMOUNT OF WHEELBASE. Petes right, the suspension on an suv is way to soft and the wheelbase is way to short. I will probably end up w/ a 21-22' carson though.. I am surprised at how many older carsons i am seeing around my town........98's through 2003's.....all in decent condition, from what I can see on the outside.......the carsons doo hold up well. Granted, now that I have my 2550hd, I wouldn't tow with the tahoe, but in a pinch, i could. No offense, Nick. I towed my 23 ft Baja with my shortbed, reg can Z71. Other than the short wheelbase, it did it ok. I had airbags on it so along w/ the Z71 suspension, it did just fine too....so I thought. Im telling you guys... if you don't go big, and stay well within your weight limits, err on the side of caution, and don't expect to get anywhere fast, then towing with a 1/2 ton is ok!!! now, can a 1/2 ton pull a 30 ft monster trailer? effe no!!! should you put a 5th wheel on a 1/2 ton?? double effe no!!! have I seen both of them done???? yes i have I saw an H2 towing a WW fsw 32, with 4 extra feet I stayed the effe away from that guy!!! It will probably bee a 20-21'er though.. I will be fine.. everyone around me will be fine... i dont try to do 90 up and down potosi.. I have the same attitude as ash when towing... Ill get there when i get there the dunes aint going anywhere... so what if i cant cut 20min off my trip by gettin the trailer to do tricks..
