AmyA Posted August 11, 2022 Share Posted August 11, 2022 Any help would be appreciated. I have a 2006 susuki quadsport lt80. It had not been running for about 1 year. Changed the spark plug, fuse, and a new battery and it started right up. But…you had to keep your foot on the brake because it was revving up too high. It would take off full speed if you didn’t keep the brake on. I cleaned the carb, no improvement. I got a new carburetor, changed it out, oiled the throttle cable and still no change. It’s so high that the tires are squealing with the park brake on and I just have to turn it back off. Tried to adjust idle screw on carb without change. Any suggestions?
