pjcnlv
We headed down yesterday to SoCal for from Vegas for a family gathering. There was a steady stream of toy haulers and mohos towing toys going east all the way to Baker. We dropped down to Devore at about 1700hrs and witnessed bumper to bumper traffic going east all the way from the 15/215 merge to the 15/10 interchange. THAT'S BAD TRAFFIC! They were crawling for 15+ miles YOW!!!!!! Some people must have arrived at midnight in Dumont. We moved out of SoCal in 1992. I don't think I could bear the traffic now. raptorgirl
We are from Bakersfield and we got to Dumont Wednesday around 2:00 and didn't hit much traffic but we were in for a long drive on Sunday headed home. What usually takes around 4 1/2 hours to get home ended up taking us around 9 hours. We were stuck in traffic bumper to bumper from Baker to Kramer Jct. then the traffic was smooth sailing. We even pulled over somewhere along the way and sold our leftover gas to a guy pulling a boat who was running out of gas and had a hole in his tire on his boat trailer, so we got him gassed up and aired up and he was once again on his way. After we were done we got back onto the highway and only about 10 cars got ahead of us.
