desertskyz Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 What I observed/learned about building an LT Car “A Chicks point of View” First and foremost DON”T. It takes along time. You won’t save that much money. 1. Who knew billet wasn’t a company. 2. Putting together/installing CV’s is easier with more than two hands. That grease wants to be your friend and can go places do didn't even go. 3. The motor and the trans will eventually line up. 4. The box the motor comes in makes a really cool fort or doghouse. 5. Putting together and taking apart shocks (3 times) I always think they going to (BOING) off and go flying. They don’t 6. You learn to string together swear words in New and Interesting ways. 7. The Fuel Cell isn’t as heavy as it looks. 8. Nevada House of Hose in Henderson doesn’t have sh*t 9. You’ll get parts from 7-11 to NASA. 10. McKenzie’s and Jags are bada$$ :dance: 11. Having a friend that’s works down the street for Butch’s Speed Shop and has a truck. Perfect. 12. Seats go in Seats go out again and again. 13. Zip Ties are your friend. 14. Coast to Coast has the best selection of nuts and bolts. You’ll need a lot of them. 15. Last but not least. Just stay in the and let him do it. He’ll come have a beer eventully.
