dunefreak Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 I just wanted to let anyone that plans on racing abouit the kill switch rule. I read on Planet Sand that "no kill switch, no race"... It would suck for anyone planning on driving all the way out there to race and run in to that. We just wanted to clarify a very important rule (all safety rules are of the utmost importance), the requirement of a kill switch. All quads are required to run a tether style kill switch. There will not be any exceptions. Kill switches are available from almost every atv parts supplier, and are very affordable. Many brands are right at the $20 price point. Install is easy and works on any kind of ignition system. Again, this is a mandatory safety item that many have not had to have in the past, we just want to make sure everyone that comes to race is safe and is prepared.
