Someone I know is working on an LS1 in a buggy and hooking up an Auto Meter oil pressure gauge. The thread size for the stock oil sender is not like an old small block size oil sender. It is much larger and uses a washer to seal against the block instead of the tapered threads like on the older ones. My question is this... What kind of adapter are you using for the Auto Meter sender? and Is your oil sender in the factory location oil pressure port at the top/rear of the motor?
