got boost?
last trip out i thought i popped the trans...turns out i broke the chromoly star (inboard cv). now my queation is... which way does it go in? I bought a whole new cv as the cage was damaged 2. looking at the new one (lightened, race prepped, and chromoly) the star is flat on 1 side and has an edge on the other side. does the flat side face the trans or the other way around? Thanks for the help . BTW since nobody has bought it, i guess i am gonna have to take it out for presidents weekend

wrench
To get more life from your CVs, Mix some copper anti-sieze with the grease. This will help the balls from galling up under heavy load.
