Smith, 39, collapsed and was unresponsive while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino in Hollwood, Fla., said the attorney, Ron Rale. She was rushed to nearby Memorial Regional Hospital just after 2:00 p.m. EST. Officials said Smith had checked into the hotel on Monday and was scheduled to check out on Friday. According to eyewitnesses, emergency responders performed CPR at the scene. Anna Nicole Smith Through The Years Smith earlier this month drew attention after she and TrimSpa were sued in a class-action lawsuit alleging their marketing of a weight-loss pill is false or misleading. Smith had endorsed TrimSpa and was a spokeswoman. Smith also spent several years in a legal battle over her late husband's fortunes. At issue is the will of Houston oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall the second, who died in 1995 at age 90 -- one year after the couple married. Smith was 26 when they wed. Smith was from Mexia, Texas."
