Desertdog
I just picked up a 2005 FS2600. It looks like the Rhino is exactly the same height as the bottom of the pull down bed (the handle sticks down farther). I talked to a local guy who makes roll cages 2" shorter. He wants $800.00+ for one. I think I would modify the stock one first. I've heard some people say they will fit(tight). I was going to see how close it is in the morning. I guess you might be able to air down the tires. Thats a pain to do every time. Anybody dealt with this problem?
JRBurn
I do not have a Rhino but a Ranger which I think is taller and I have no problems (I have the dual electric beds). Edited April 2, 2007 by JRBurn
Desertdog
Your right. The ranger is 2" taller than the rhino. Do you know what your height is floor to bottom of the bed ? Mine is 73". I wonder if they changed height with the model/year difference.
Richard Cheese
i have a ranger. i have an attitude with a single pull down back bunk. it fits with like 2 inches to spare. I have no idea why different manufacturers switch around the bed height, especially when dealers cannot keep farm equipment on the showroom floor. maybe the toyhauler R and D teams no peeke engly??? Kens Colors
I don't know if this would apply to your situation, but my nieghbor had same issue. But it was the bottom bunk that was the clearance problem and so he just pulled the bottom one out. No more height issue.
high octane junkie
i have a 25 foot sierra sport. my rhino clears the bottom bunk with a couple inches to spare. i installed four trailtech hid lights, upside down, so they'd clear goin' in. i have 26" terracross tires, no problem. just some info and idea's. good luck. the kid with the mohawk helmet
I know that some people lower all the air outa there tires and they are barley clearing but they have light bars but evan without a light bar they aired out just to have some room to put like a table or something on top snugg against there beds
iweb
Mine used to barely fit then I installed a roof and it was too high so I just have the wife sit in the back of the Rhino when I load and unload! Her new name is ballast.
MAXDOUT
when i bought my rhino, new with a four seater cage it was 73 inch to the top. i was in the same predicament. i then put fox resevior shocks on it and it lowered my ride height to 70.5 inch, also giving my rhino a better ride. i got the shocks from custom motorsports .com. the shocks where bolt on. check it out, maybe that will help.
