dreamrr
I live fairly close to Coral Pink (Cedar City). Weather is great right now, but storms seem to come unannounced here. The snow is pretty much gone now.

dunefreak
Early June it should be pretty nice up there. Expect it to get a little warm for a few hours in the middle of the day, but it should be really good weather. Here are the averages for up there: http://weather.yahoo.com/climo/USUT0127_f.html
dreamrr
How is the duck creek area looking?? I was just up there last weekend. There was still snow on the ground and in the medows, but it is getting skimpy.
mineurbiz
Does anyone know the size of the spots in the full hookup area? Our trailer measures out to 41 feet plus the truck, will it fit?

mineurbiz
Good luck with that...I doubt it will. That stinks, we are going there this summer. We have been to the meadows but not the RV spots, I guess we may have to refigure our plans.
giannamyhero
thats why we drove up there to check it out and see if we could fit in the campground as we have a 30ft toyhauler and when hooked up to our ford f350 crew cab it comes out to a length of 50.5 feet. we drove thru the campground and parked in several spots trying to image it hooked with our trailer and we wrote down several spots that we thought would work, spaces 2/3, 5, 10, 11, 22, 15/16, 8. and i would assume the group camp spot would work(it was chained off when we were there) and sounds like it would maybe be the better spot. the problem really seems to be where do you put the toys at when you unload them?? we have a 4-seat buggy and 2 quads. it seems to be a very nice campground has water/showers/dump station and only 22 spaces good luck trying to book it. http://www.reserveamerica.com/ Edited March 9, 2007 by giannamyhero
sanddunesaddict
Does anyone know the size of the spots in the full hookup area? Our trailer measures out to 41 feet plus the truck, will it fit? If you get spot 15 and 16 it will...its a dual spot and its easy to pull in and out. Only problem is you have to pay for 2 spots Edited March 9, 2007 by sanddunesaddict

giannamyhero
also when you go to the reserveamerica.com site and look at each campsite it has notes on each space like the length of the driveway or if its on a slope or what not

Danielle
Does anyone know the size of the spots in the full hookup area? Our trailer measures out to 41 feet plus the truck, will it fit? Yes it will fit. There are about 4 or 6 sites that will fit it.We are going easter weekend and have 2 of the sites. You need to book enough in advance so you can reserve the site that works for you.If you go to coral pinks website it has a map of the campground and it will show you what is available and how long each site is.There is also a group site that holds about 5 trailers but that books out fast.If you can't find it let me know and I will help you. This is the one topic of dune riding i know about since we haven't been to dumont yet and am clueless about. But you guy's have helped out alot with info

If you are talking about duck creek, you park your bike right next to where you camp and yes you can ride right of your campground and right back to it.Ditto on coral pink if you were talking about that. It is very safe at both places.
