Newport Dunes is our favorite.

If you belong to the Elks, they have several nice places too, but members only.

Thanks for the info.I checked it out on line.I just did'nt know anyone who has gone there. The sites close to the beach cost alot of $$$$ the one's in the 4th row back are cheaper they said.Do you know if they are good sites as well? And no we don't belong to the Elk's.

They are back-in, and a few hundred feet from the beach.

The entire place is very nice and right on the water in Newport Bay.

If you guys ride bicycles, and you have some time, a quick ride over to Balboa island is a kick for the kids.

Ya cross on the ferry over to the island.

Newport Dunes has always been pricy.

Their are a few campgrounds around Disneyland.

Orangeland was good, closer and more reasonable priced, but it's not off PCH, it's just minutes from Disneyland.

The Good Sam guide has very accurate ratings of them.

Thanks again. We do belong to good sams,we always stay by disney in a hotel just wanted the kids to be able to stay by the beach for first time.We grew up in Ca. so we have been to Balboa Island often, but that would be cool to ride bikes from the camp ground over there. Is it a long bike ride? And is it safe for the little guy's to ride there bikes to the ferry? Thanks for all the info. :D
