superdave Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 (edited) april 28th is the terrible town 250 offroad race starting in pahrump and going way out past the amargosa dunes and back. we have been going the last few years, camping at the dunes and then riding aroung the trails and watching the race from various spots. its great fun being able to ride the dunes and trails at the same time. i have never bothered to put the paddles on because with good desert tires you can go through the dunes pretty good. maybe this year i will bring them and put them on for a while. last year i think it was livinalolife, sincity blondie, pauly paul, kens colors and some more i cant remember. we had a great time. the weather was perfect and it looks like it may be good again if it continues like it is. One along a power line road and one spot where the had to make a hard left hand turn and make a small jump. We never saw any rangers.
