dunefreak Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 If you are talking about the 4.2L inline 6 from the 70's/80's, that motor is pretty outdated. I think it was a turd. My 79 had one in it originally, but when I bought the truck it was already ripped out and a 350 was stabbed in it. Those trucks are great trucks, but I'd pass on that engine/trans setup.
