They got dropped off and were waiting for the next vehicle to pick them up and we got a tip. Nice short hike into the Mtns and there they were! Then a surprise b-day party at an old friends house. Saturday Pete and I get dolled up again for a formal (the Prez looks great in a tux!). I guess you can compare your job to "fishing" every now and then you catch one, or thirteen... I do compare it to fishing. Funny you should say that. Most days are slow (1- 10) I will catch. But on others I have caught upwards of 50+ (with help ofcourse). I seem to have made 13 my "lucky" number that is the 5th time I have caught a group of 13. Also the best part is there is no release program here, although they do get to return from where they came only to try to not get "caught" by us fishermen! And to answer your Question Duniemonkie-- I have seen as many as 28 stacked into an old Ford Econoline van trying to pass through the checkpoint here. Sat up at 7am do the three mile hike to 49 Palms in 29 Palms Be back by 10am to take 3 out of 4 of "the herd" to get bathed and trimmed, nails. I don't do nails. Clean, clean, clean.............I haven't done that in awhile :ahhhhh: Watch whatever movie is on the TV and entertain and feed whoever happens to be in the garage this weekend, you never know who that could be.
