Cracker
So my ignition cylinder seems to have taken a dump on me as my key will not come back to the off position so my key's stuck. I've been trying to pull the cylinder following the instructions in the Haynes manual but no luck. Seems I'm now going to be looking for a locksmith that does this sort of work. Thanks. ntrsandman
what does the haynes manual say to do? the vehicles I deal with have a "button" on the tumbler bottom that comes out the housing. the key usually needs to be in the "on" position to push the button in and pull the tumbler out. then use a screwdriver to turn the ignition to off. sometimes have had to use a punch and hammer to tap on the button to persuade it to turn/release. Good luck!
Cracker
I got it out. Mine was "stuck" to say the least. I just kept pushing the release button and it finally unlocked.
