Google earth says 17 hours from havasu to coos bay one of the rigs in our group lost his trailer brakes over grants pass... so we all nursed him in, at just about 19 hours. we did it in 2 days up.. easy drive 65-70 most the time. It would actually be cheaper to tow your stuff up on a flatbed then rent a room the way gas prices are right now. Thats what he did a couple years ago, and it was cheaper then! Pimso 2 years ago, we had to cross a saltwater river to access the dunes and Fog most of the day. I thought the rust would set in instantly... we power washed before we left and got away with no rust. You certainly got lucky with the rain Coos Bay never camp without a parka! :ahhhhh: We are planning a trip up there for Dunefest, can't expect the NorCal friends/family to always come here I guess.
