dunefreak
I was thinking of getting some grip tape for my steps. Does anyone use anything besides grip tape to help protect them and keep your feet from slipping?
EY3BA11
Thats actually gonna be your best bet I know they make some paint on stuff but not as clean as grip tape or as easy to apply..
ynot
I have grip tape on mine works very well and you can make sure your not kicking the panels.
bp-guy
My new rail has them and they are Chrome. I had a foot rest in the yellow rail and I had it sent out and had a rhino-liner company dip it. But since yours is welded to the chassis I guess that is out. Grip tape should work fine and if it comes loose it is a cheap thing to replace. I am sure sand will work its way in and seperate the tape from the metal.
offroadracer
Pete talk to ken his shop does the spray in liners, they should be able to mask a section of them and spray them, my older truck nerf bars i had done that way they turned out clean

Don29palms
That spray on bedliner sounds like it could be a really good idea. The ones on my car are chrome and get quite slippery at times.

bp-guy
Atleast you guys seem to agree with the spray-in liner. My friends here are hard to convince that my idea was a good one. The guy didn't even want any money because it was such a small job. I saw his boy was selling chocolate bars for his little league so I bought $25 bucks in chocolate and took 1 bar. We both were happy!

Luvdunes
That was nice of you to support his son, fundraising for your kid sucks and it probably meant more to him for you to buy candy than to pay him for the job since it was so small. dunefreak
Buy a couple of these!!! Never Slips Taylor, didn't you see the pic of my rail? Mine are welded on and incorporated into the frame already. YamaPimp
Well then just go with the sprayliner, x-press is in Henderson of course and can match your cars color.
OGP
Im sure if he gets a spray on, it will be from Metro.
OGP
The texture of the Turboliner Metro uses is almost like grip tape. It has a factory look to it. The nicest stuff out there in my opinion.

dunefreak
Don't keep us in suspense. What are you going to do? I think I might just cut em off- that'll fix it. Maybe if I buff them, and glue on some grip tape. Whatcha think?
