holy crap batman.. Do you knwo how to turn a wrench.. they aint that hard... if you can change a battery you can change a water heater.. Hell ill come over adn do it for half that.. ok not really but damn your getting it without the KY

and as for having my dad do it, that would be great! The only problem is that both my parents are out of town for a week so i just had the guy come and do it! haha it was too late for home depot and i wasnt about to take a cold shower in the morning so...lol

Hell you could have heated up the water in the toy hauler for a week and found someone who wouldn't have hammered you so hard! :laughing:

Sorry to agree with everyone else on here but DAMMMMM!

Ours went out on out new house just after we moved in. We had the insurance for it and it still cost us $600 but we opted for a 75 gallon over the 40 gallon. Plus there were some upgrades that were required by law (so he says)...

I think the only upgrade for the law is a double wall flue pipe.
