Plumbing in the Hauler

Long story short i got all Macgyver on my plumbing a while back when the pump got stopped up, chopped off a 1 1/2 foot piece that connects to my pressure washer. I tried to fix which worked wll for a minute and now i want it 100% fixed but cant bare to go down to the RV plase which charges 100$ an hour and in all reality is should take about 15 minutes to fix..

IT is a pressurized fitting i am told that needs a special Crimping maching to lock it on the hose , it's basically 2 fittings that are on the ends of the hose or elbows. I used standard clamps and some kind of glue and it worked great for minimal use, then pops thought he could do it better and now it leaks like Niagra falls...

QUESTION: Can this be fixed with standard stuff from home depot or do i need to go go get taxed from the RV place? I talked to my RV rep and he said it's very possible to do it yourself and swears not to waste the money but will it still leak and it there a special clamp for pressureized water lines at Home depot?

thanks guys please let me know.Sam.

I had the same problem on mine and had to have a buddy who is a plumbing contractor stop by and fix it. It took him like 10 minutes. If you live in Henderson I may be bale to get him to hook you up. Let me know if you want his number.

I am not sure exactly what your talking about cause I speak english but if your trying to connect 2 pieces of the hose together they make a connector that slides over both ends of the hose and then you tighten the nuts down and it crimps itself. If you have a picture of the tubing and what your trying to fix i would take it to Johnnie walkers parts dept and ask them for some advice and the needed parts. Advice is usually free and the piece that I am thinking might be needed was less than 5 bucks. :freakin_nuts:

Since we are on the topic of plumbing. The water for my sh*tter barely comes out....very low pressure. I've taken off the water line, and there is plenty of pressure there, but when i attach it, not that much pressure at all..........................any suggestions

I did use coupling that you are speaking of and if this pipe is poly then you will need the tool that expands the tube and the coupling in order for it not to leak. The pipe used in WW is a poly type so I figure all haulers use the same as it does not need elbows and so on and bends so it is easier to run, just like in new homes. Like I said I can give you a plumbers # who rides and will not bend you over or have a dealer make the repair. As for the toilet I think their must be a reducer that you may be able to drill out but not sure. Try it and let me know if that works.

DUDE IF THATS ALL YOU NEED GO TO HOME DEPOT AND BUY A PRESS LOCK FITTING THEY ARE UNDER PIPE FITTINGS. IT LOOKS LIKE 3/4 PRESS LOCK IS ALL YOU NEED THAT IS A 9O DEGREE. EASY FIX GLAD I COULD HELP P.S. THAT FITTING WILL HOLD OVER 250 PSI SO ONT WORRY ABOUT BLOWING IT

The press lock fitting worked like a charm, too easy for the price of 10$ it sealed that little b*tch up..

Removed the elbow from the right side and put the pipe in there and it locked instatnley and connected the other side...NO MORE LEAK and paid 10$ to fix, they quoted me 180$.. :barf:
