The generator requires the use of 8–gauge wire. Using the generator could cause the wire to smolder, burn or the circuit breaker to trip increasing the risk of a fire. Dealers will replace the 14–gauge wire with 8–gauge wire. Skyline is recommending that owners do not use the generator until this wire has been replaced. Owners may contact Skyline at (800) 736–2573. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Vehicle Safety Hotline at (888) 327–4236 or visit www.safercar.gov.
