Warrior07 Posted August 15, 2007 Share Posted August 15, 2007 ok so i got a nail in one of my toyhauler tires . what would you do replace it or fix it and just use it as a spare. and would you feel comfortable using it as a spare to limp back home . being that its a trailer loaded at 10,000 lbs . That's your call Pete. I'd replace it. Nothing worse than a blowout that rips-up your trailer. Then putting on a spare with a patch in it. Not comforting. Yeah, Nobody said this dune sport is or was ever cheap. well i did by one of the tire guard plans but they will only pay to repair if it is repairable , or replace if not . then i have to send them the receipt for reimbursement pain in the arse . better off not buying it .
