sMitty
The state of NV has allowed specialized groups to create / submit custom license plate designs for the specific purpose of supporting the target group. That being said, the only "catch" is that the funds must "benefit education, public safety, or general welfare." OFF ROAD PLATES!! If "rodeos" and "air race" clubs qualify for this benefit....why can't the off road community??! The money's use can easily be articulated for the maint. of NV's off road areas (i.e Armargosa, Sand Mountain, ect...) As long as the submitting club posts a $5000 bond (unk if refundable) and maintains a re-registration rate of at least 1000 plates per calendar year, your good to go. (pending a "plate committee's" approval) Can anyone else picture a license plate with a rail or quad floating over a dune???!!!! I can The possibilities on this are endless.... Any thoughts? P.S. regrettably, DUMONT isn't in NV..that would have been a cool plate
