BLM Announces Members of Dumont Dunes Technical Review Team

The Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Barstow Field Office Manager Roxie Trost announced today the members selected to serve on Dumont Dunes Technical Review Team (TRT), which will advise BLM on the collection, expenditure, and accountability of fees, and development of future faculties and services.

"We have a good selection of qualified TRT members who I believe will serve the public well," said Trost. "I also encouraged those who were not selected to stay in contact with BLM and the TRT, and participate in the public meetings."

Below are the members of the TRT and their category of representation.

Sheri Davis, commercial filming, member, California Desert District Advisory Council

Ed Waldheim, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Commission

Terry Allen, Nevada off-highway vehicle (OHV) interests

Kathleen Stosuy, California OHV interests

Jim Branham, OHV organizations

Randy Banis, other motorized recreation

John Dalgeish, Friends of Dumont Dunes

The first meeting will be held Tuesday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. in the Barstow Field Office, located at 2601 Barstow Road, in Barstow. From Interstate 15 take the Barstow Road/Highway 247 exit and go east. Follow for approximately two miles and the office will be on the left.
