JoeDuner
Just about everyone who goes out there frequently has blown up at least once.

dunefreak
I have been through about 2 or 3 top ends on my YZ250 out there. I finally got it dialed in enough to where the jetting makes it reliable enough to not melt/ break pistons. I have also siezed 4th gear to a main shaft out there too. THat was a fun time gettin it back to camp., PaulyPaul & I threw the bike on the back of my Grizzly and rode doubles WITH the bike back to camp past rangers and all. People were running from their camps screaming to their friends- hey come look at this sh*t!! It was a memorable experience to say the least! Don29palms
I burn a hole in a piston in my old banshee at the top of Comp. That sucked riding back to camp on one cylinder.
sanddunesaddict
I have lost count on how much stuff I have blown up/broke at Dumont.
Don29palms
I think a better question would be who hasn't?
HappyHour
My first engine in my rail blew (what I call) a big breather hole in the top of the block. One of the rods let go and punched a whole in the top of the block (VW engine). Then the second engine, my wife burned up rod bearings by doing speed runs on the flats in 2nd gear. She has never driven a stick before and I told to to stay in second gear. She could play on the finger dune all she wants doing that. But I forgot my wife is a lead foot and decided to do speed runs down the flats............ :no_no: Anyway, she was a real great girl and did 3 shifts of overtime at work to pay for it........... That's one of many reasons why I love her so much................... :shocked2: :shocked2:
