ltr450rider
FI all the way. No need to jet it for high altitude riding. "Plug and Play" modules are cheap and effective. No carburetor to clean when you havn't run your engine for awhile. The biggest problem is dirt cloggin the injectors, but I don't know why you would be riding around with you gas cap off. FI is the wave of the future people, get with it.
Quicksilver
Fuel injection is superior to carburators, but that would not stop me from buying one with a carb if I liked the feel of the quad better. Jetting a carb is more time consuming but if you know what you are doing it isn't so bad.
Richard Cheese
here is an issue i have with my fuel injected ranger the fuel programmers are about the cost of a new carb. Yet, the controllers are very limited as to where you can add/take away fuel AND also limited to how much fuel you can add or take away. one would think that you could buy a programmer, much like i did for my diesel, that already has custom tunes on it that is plug and play. they make you work for it man....kinda sucks the farkin controller for my ranger costs about 100 bucks more than what i paid for diesel tuner
barefoot bob
there is no comparison it is like comparing a beam car to an lt .fuel injection is far and away superior to carbs

ocean's 4
I've had great success with both, I guess it would come down to which model of quad/bike you really wanted.
