Global Warming; It is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in [sic] allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the "research" to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus. Environmental extremists, notable politicians among them, then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild "scientific" scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from Global Warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda. Now their ridiculous manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmental conscientious citizens. Only one reporter at ABC has been allowed to counter the Global Warming frenzy with one 15 minutes documentary segment. [...] I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismissal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming. In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious. Let's hope so, John; let's hope so. Well if that is the case why is it that when you watch the weather on the news the record highs are usually set back in the 60's or 70's. I also heard today that there is new scientific studies that came out today stating that the sun will quit burning within 200 years!!!! SandBox_Kid Posted November 14, 2007 Share Posted November 14, 2007 I read an article a while back that discussed the warming and cooling trends over our recorded history that we have had over a long period of time in our history. This isn't the first warming or cooling "scare" that the media has hyped up. It's actually more like the 7th time or so. motoxman30 Posted November 14, 2007 Share Posted November 14, 2007 i must say that i agree that it is a scam...in order to understand global warming u must understand where the carbon monoxide comes from or CO2...most scientists dont know the operation of a car so determining wut causes the emissions is an important part. and to be honest with u....i havent felt a temperature difference... they base it on an average so one very hot day can raise the average and cause a misreading and the suns rays are supposed to be reflected off the emissions in the air and a high amount of emissions would be noticed with dark clouds...and i know uve seen clear skies. and the sun doesnt stop burning...it explodes and thats not expected to happen for manny many years...like millions...but that doesnt have anything to do with global warming the earth warms up....not cool down...it makes sense but theres not enough factors to make a conclusion Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Richard Cheese Posted November 15, 2007 Share Posted November 15, 2007 the earth does not rotate around the sun in a perfect circle. it varies with every rotation, some closer, some further away by as many as a couple miles not only that, but the tilt of the earth is also far from perfect, so if it stays tilted down a little longer than normal, or farther than the tropic of cancer, then it will be warmer. the opposite is true as well al Whore is in it for one thing,..the money. same goes for all the other government entities climbing on the fuggin bandwagon.. motoxman30 Posted November 15, 2007 Share Posted November 15, 2007 scientists get money for doing studies on what isnt there hell...theyre probably sittin in a chair drinkin some cold ones and laughin cuz they know that the majority of adults dont know much about the earth and yeah ur right bout the rotation al gore did it for some attention , for money, and cause he is a major environmentalist trying to get more people to join his cause. watch out for hilary clinton too...shes even more hardcore than gore. Kitcat Posted November 15, 2007 Share Posted November 15, 2007 What kills me most about this issue is that these celebs and politicians have these BIG houses/mansions that use up all this energy. Gee, if they were really about conserving energy, then live in a smaller home. Who cares if you buy a hybrid vehicle and changed your light bulbs to energy efficient if you have a 20,000 sq ft house!!! Personally, I don't care how much energy you're using if you're paying for it! We changed out all our light bulbs a while ago. We do change them less, but we still had a $600 NV Power bill this summer! It was probably the fridge in the garage at 110 degrees!!! But, the beer is cool!
