sand chick Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 Ok Ok I know I have been a little Grinchy this year :xmas_grinch: But we did a Toys for Tots motorcycle poker run on Sat. and for me theres nothing like a little giving to put me in the Christmas mood!! :xmas4: :xmas3: :xmas4: So we were talking about Christmas traditions, everyones got them, lets hear them!! And how long have you been doing them! For me its not Christmas until.......... I watch "Its a Wonderful Life" usually I watch it on Christmas Eve. I have been doing this for about 20 years. And if I have a Christmas tree, I have a "Chrismouse" a little mouse that has been in my family since before I was born and he HAS to go on the tree before anything else! I have been doing that all my life. I think the Toys for Tots drive will be my new tradition! So for you Its not Christmas until......................??? It's not just movies, but that seems to be a big part of the holiday traditions. wa.statecrew and I also used to make a gingerbread house from scratch every year! (sorry Mom) I guess the only two things I do every year is... 1) Read "The night before Christmas" to my kids on Christmas Eve at bedtime. 2) Start counting the days until tax return because I'm efen broke again!!!! My neighbors go treeing up my Calienta. I always pick the ugly one and it's free Captain Morgan and I make up under the MistleToe. :xmas4: I go broke buying gifts for everyone. NOT THIS YEAR!
