I am thinking maybe we should wait to do it till after New Years. That way we can do it big and right. It seems we have a bunch of peeps on board already just from talking about it today. If we waited and did it up like the weekend after New Years, then it would be easier for the Cali people. I'll add a poll to this thread so everyone can choose when they think we should have it. We used to play in a Friday Night league at Sunset Lanes - not at Sunset Station Casino, but the more ghetto one on Sunset (Alleygators). They're actually pretty cool there and their drinks were pretty inexpensive. Al's Garage is cool, too. I like it better when the weather is warmer, though. You can sit outside and hang out!!! Last one was great. So that is certainly an option if needs/wants dictate it. Now I am thinking of having one anyway. Not everyone can make it to Dumont. Everyone's broke! -------- I think a few of you don't really understand what I was talking about when I said get together. I'm pretty sure more than just 10 or 15 people are gonna show up. That said, bowling is pretty much out. That is something you do with like a small group. I think one of the places where we can reserve a large section would be best as long as there isn't a huge fee for it. We gotta keep it semi-simple and affordable for everyone. I am not oppossed to having a party at Ken's shop, but I was thinking something more along the lines of what you just suggested, Brian. You can rent several lanes at bowling. We do that all the time when we go in groups. It doesn't really matter. since my parents are coming to town and Mark & I have been feverishly trying to get our downstairs bedroom ready for them (and get the house clean, presents bought & wrapped, etc, etc, etc), I'm not 100% sure if we can go.
