otis
Going with an ASV perch and dumping the stock e-brake. Do I need to splice any of the wiring coming from the stock perch? If its the same set up as the Banshee all you should need to do is follow the wires down from the perch and unplug them. Thats for the banshee though so the 450 might be different. IF no one heres has more info for ya, try this site. YFZ Central
wingnut
Just pull the lever off, take out the cable then put a block off plate were the parking brake mechanism mounts to the caliper. rushjunkie
It seems to be the same as the Banshee's. I think they just hook into the TORS. Hoping somebody here knew before i had to call the dudes at the dealer. They arent so versed sometimes :beer_bang:
indasand
Is it going to be in the way? Why get rid of it?
otis
Is it going to be in the way? Why get rid of it? On the Banshee (at least the older ones) It's like a one piece unit that combines the clutch and parking brake. If you change out the clutch lever to an easy pull lever system, it usually comes with its own perch (Like the ASV he's going to be using) so the e-brake must be removed as well. Some just like the cleaner look with out it...
