desertskyz
With a pressure washer or take it to a car wash with pressure sprayers. Dan did mine the other day. Looks great now. Now I want a K&N filer system. Edited January 12, 2008 by desertskyz

desertskyz
He did mine cold. You would want to crack you block if it was hot. Cleaned the motor on rail with it also. (Do I know what I'm talking about)

(Do I know what I'm talking about) Crack your block???? Thats funny I would suggest doing it when warm. The heat helps loosen and dirt or debris from the motor and the water dries faster leaving less water spots/ etc. Just be careful where you use a pressure washer. Don't spray it on many electrical connections or underhood modules.
Kens Colors
If you are doing it yourself I would go with the warm, also get some of the "degreaser" I see it at home depot, lowes one of the brands is a citrus mixture, another is purple power or something like that. Mix up a strong mixture of it and once you shut your engine off mist everything with a spray bottle use a lot of the stuff and leave it sit for 15-20 min, then when you spray it off won't have to spend as much time shooting water at your engine.
