Sandpirates2
I've had a General level license for many years due to my work, it was called a General Radio Operators Licensed Technician or in today's world a Amateur Extra Class with provisions. I've got friends who are still in it, and run 2, 6, or 10 meter rigs. The license is not hard to obtain, and you dont need to know code anymore for the entry level radio. :shocked2:
