dunefreak
Holy crap. That place rocks!!! On the way back from picking up the rail in SLC, Anna and I hit up Little Sahara. That place is badass! It's got a bunch of everything, trails, hillclimbs, nice flowing dunes, ect ect. We met up with some peeps from "the other site". Serioulsy though, 50cal, Malibu & sandchick, Predu, dirtprincess, and a handfull of many other great peeps welcomed us into their camp. We had a great weekend hanging out. "Observations" are easiest way to describe a trip so here they go... -Dirprincess showed us around the place and was the Little Sahara tour guide. thank you Becky. You're awesome. -late night sideXside runs! holy crap! We did stuff that Rhinos should NOT do. Good driving there, Predu...until you rolled it! We were coming down a hill with the front diff locked and the wheel just yanked out of his hand and we drove right up the side of an embankment and rolled it. Good times. -Sand Mountain is steep! Good azz view from up there. -Ronnie (sorry, forgot the screen name)- awesome carne asada and some badass runs we got to go on with the quads. We gotta hook up again for sure. -grannyfights.com...dammit- it's already taken! Richie will understand. -fatty patty -gang bang at the cowboy camp...WTF!??? -50 cal took my idea the 1st night and fuggin tagged my hauler with a DD.com sticker. So....Anna and I got him back GOOD. We plastered DDR stickers all over his chit. He'll be finding DDR stcikers for a while on his rides. -GOOD duning in the back behind Sand Mountain! -we (anna, me, and 50cal) wandered around drunk Sat night from camp to camp saying hi to peeps. Some cool, but others got way freaked out. wtf? -some of the dumbest riders I have ever seen are at Sand Mtn. It's like NOBODY wears helmets or knows how to ride. I saw the helicopter and ambulances all weekend. -if it doesn't start...unplug it and plug it back in! My GM expertise came in handy on Richies car. -sand was soft and moist as hell- very power robbing -sunset hill is pretty cool but hard to get a spot at sunset. Damn hill is so steep you can't even stay put on the face of it. Many more to come. Thats all I have for now. I'll post some pics up. I have alot! Thanks to each and every one of the cool peeps we camped with this last weekend. I never once felt out of place or uninvited. I plan on doing at least one trip a year up there now. That place rocks. yeah I know...I'm a jackass many more to come

Good times! Hope your hand gets better. It could have been way worse. You could have lost some fingers. Oh yeah and when we had a dead battery w/ the Rhino and you guys were looking for us.... :shout: "HEY F*KFACE....OVER HERE!!!" That was funny chit. Is that the LITTLE SIGN you were talking about? Nope. That sign in the pic was after the small one we almost blew right by.

Utah Lake & snow-filled mtns in the back small town, Eureka, in the mountains on the way. We stopped for ice and firewood. There were some really cool old buildings from WAY back... gettin closer...come onnnn! Mike & Becky arrived to meet us at the entrance RIGHT when we did. Perfect timing. Pulling into Sand Mountain camp area. "There it is!" More to come. (Those are just the "driving there" pics.

duniemonkie
Like Pete said, thanks to all we camped with. You all were the perfect bunch of neighbors and it's too bad I didn't get to meet everybody. Here are the couple observatons I can think of... -"Oh my God you're stupid!!" - Granny Smith apples :breakdance: - People from Lehi apperently have no social skills - Dr. Ryan - Carne Asada every day = an uncomfortable ride home - Predu during the day :breakdance: , Predu at night - Do not EVER turn Predu's kid upside down!! - No helmet laws are natural selection at its best. - "umont unes.com"...run!! - "You missed the gang-bang fight!" - Spider tree? sand chick
What happened to his hand Jodi? Sorry I thought he was going to elabrate on that, but I guess he had one too many pain pills! We also rolled in Predu's possesed rhino! Nothing really major, but Mike's hand and arm left the cage and was pinned between the cage and the ground. Good thing it was soft sand, or we'd have been pickin up sandy fingers and icing them to the ranger station and I would have learned how to drive a rhino in a hurry!! :breakdance: Just hit a berm wrong. Not even going fast! Some quick observations!! Bird Poop is now green even the littlest one is now calling it bird poop! Suck and Blows! I am SOOO OVER THEM! I am not doing that and then does it anyway! Holy sh*t! YOUR NOT RICHIE! :breakdance: :moon: just replaced life's most embarassing moment #1 Oh Pete went over to get some Jack! Ha Ha! He aint coming back, he's going to bed! DOH! Got called! AND told on! Knock knock! You naked? Making cheeese uhhhh this trip! :angry2: I am Switzerland in this game of TAG! ltr450rider
That looks like a killer place to ride for a nice long summer trip. I'm guessing it would be a 10-12 hour drive from here in LA. Awsome pics and reports everyone. Almost feels like I was there.

Yeah it was just an after breakfast run and he should have went into the berm and went up a little to high before dropping into the track! There are miles and miles of persision driving tracks. Set up like race tracks, with turms and berms and jumps! This place has something for everyone!
