Hi, I have some good news for the TRT, and dunners in general. Today the Gesualdo Family donated a Buggy works sand rail, 3 quads and a check for $5,000 to BLM for use providing medical assistance and visitor contact at Dumont Dunes. I'll send a photo to the TRT in a day or two of the donation. After watching a tv show that showed BLM's very old, and well used buggy they decided to donate one of their buggys to us. Oh come on...there wasn't that much bitching on here about the show. Alot of people just thought it made Dumont look like a negative thing is all. You can't blame them for standing up for their favorite place to ride. And hey look at it this way, if the show didn't make Dumont look so pitiful as far as rescue goes...that family might not ever have ever stepped up and donated. I mentioned the GPS at the meeting and was told every vehicle has a GPS, don't know why they couldn't find that location, maybe didn't know how to use it. Most don't know how to drive at the dunes, last I heard, Grant from Funco was going to teach them some stuff about duning...SF Woody Is the BLM going to get some training on how to drive/dune the new car so they are able to use it to its full capacity??
