wingnut
I have the same set up on my ltr. Don't worry about changing the map out if it was tuned for Amargossa. I'm running mine tonight out there. If it's running good I can give you my map.
04toy
The fuel injection system is controlled by the engine management ECM, which includes a 16-bit CPU and 64-kilobyte ROM. Injector-on time is determined using 3D maps, one light-load map based on intake air pressure and engine rpm, and throttle opening in degrees. The system also automatically compensates for atmospheric pressure, ambient temperature and engine coolant temperature. The ECM also controls ignition timing, based on engine rpm and throttle opening. You don't need a new map just because the altitude you're at changes. The only time you would need a new map is if you change the configuration on the quad, change exhaust/intake/compression/porting etc. Edited August 9, 2008 by 04toy
Dune Cruzer
if you want, go to FUELATV.com's site & download the map for the mods you have.
busa boy
He’s right; elevation doesn’t tamper with your quads performance because it's fuel injected. That’s the beauty of Fuel injected motors.
