nmonty
I'm looking to purchase a set of paddle tires for an '08 KFX 700, and I'm pretty set on getting a set of skat-trak's. Should I stay with the stock tire size of 22x11 or should I go down a size and get 20x10 paddles? Which would work better for the quad? Thanks for the help. YamaKiller
Do not go down in size. Go bigger if anything. 24's work very well. 22's work ok also but the quad has the power to turn the 24's without bogging down. I have 3 of these quads and have tried several different combos. I have an extra set of 24's I will sell if you're interested. I stepped up to 26's on one of mine

Free Agent
We used near stock size Sand Stars on the wifies KFX 700. Way way TOO small. Fullerton sand tire offers a teriffic 24 x 11 x 10 rear that is the way to go for the heavy kfx 700. My wife with her KFX 700 w/ the stock size Sand Stars in action. Free Agent
Thanks for the advice guys. Yamakiller, PM me a price on the tires, I'm very interested. Nick Make sure to check back how you like them and how well they work. Wife also has Elka shox, but they cost as much as the quad did. They change the ride quality 300% for the better. Probably knocked 30 lbs off the weight of the quad too. Edited November 1, 2008 by yfzdad
