80grit
I’d say if you want an all around do it all quad (Desert, Dirt, and Sand) get one of the sport 4 strokes. The convenience of electric start and no mixing fuel is pretty desirable. If you just do sand and enjoy both hill shooting and duneing, I would get a Used Banshee. There are many inexpensive used ones (that are in excellent shape) on the market that you can get into relatively cheaply. But if you plan on modifying it, make sure that you enjoy wrenching on it a lot. If you don’t like to wrench to get the most out of it, I would not get a Banshee. They are awesome but they do require tinkering if you want to be competitive on the hill. I’d suggest buying the Yamaha mechanics manual and learn from everyone that knows how to work on them as often as you can. They truly are simple once you learn the basics of how they work. If you plan on modifying it, there is a ton of used parts on the market that people are selling as they move to 4 strokes or have upgraded their parts to newer ones. If your patient and look for deals you can get that Banshee very competitive for not much money and besides you get to hone those negotiating skills ? Or you could buy a 250r and drop a 500cc Sabertooth jug and head on it
